A Systematic Review on Computer-Aided Drug Design: Docking and Scoring

In recent years, the field of computer-aided drug design (CADD) has grown rapidly, enhancing our understanding of complex biological processes and protein-ligand interactions. CADD can prdict experimental results with reasonable accuracy and reduced time, cost and equipment. CADD continuously enhances the progress of drug discovery and refinement of therapeutic agents with many successful examples. This review discusses and summarizes the process of CADD, the focus being upon the various methods of docking and scoring, including their strengths and limitations. Future aspects of their development are also described.
